Is any Tamagotchi over v.5 fake?. Does that include EBay and other online bidding sites?

Yes. EVERY Tamagotchi that is advertised as over a v5 is NOT from BanDai, therefore not a "real" Tamagotchi. Even in Japan, there is no Tamagotchi over v5.

 
It really depends. Sometimes sellers will say real tamas are higher versions then they are to get attention from bidders or sometimes they are clueless.

 
There are some fakes, which I see all the times and there are some fake copies which I hardly see. ;D

 
Unfotunatly, at the moment V5 is the highest one in England that is "real" (real meaning ade by Bandai) ALL others over V5 are FAKE

 
Yes, ebay people and all sorts of places and websites are bad about saying there are like, v7s v8s and sometimes v9. I have seen someone try to sell them.

Like everybody else has said all Tamagotchis above v5 are FAKE!

I repeat: THEY ARE FAKE!
