I was looking on eBay and I found this. It says it is a Tamagotchi style NEW AUTHENTIC 1997 Virtual Pet #22

But there is no Bandai button, and it doesn't say Tamagotchi on it. Just 'My Duck' (lol that sounds funny)

P.S. I didn't show it like on the Post because when I put IMG on it didn't work.

I wouldn't call it a "fake"...it's just not a Tamagotchi...I don't even think they are trying to act like it's Tamagotchi in the first place! I think it is just another virtual pet toy...

I mean:

1) It doesn't say JD on it, a known fakey company

2) It doesn't have pictures of Tamas on the package, like many fakes do.

3) It's 'My Duck'...it's probably a virtual duck pet, not a fake Tama!

It isnt a tamagotchi, ad there not claiming it is either. it says my duck. Its like saying a digimon or a nano pet is fake.

 
Nano Pet isn't considered a fake?

One of the reasons that Digimon isn't considered a fake, is because it isn't a tama fake, more of a sibling, as it was made by Bandai as well and for the same reason.

 
i agree ive seen other kinds of virtual pet toys just like in that picture. so its not fake its just a different kind.
