Ilooked on the packaging but I couldn't see any traces of fake but it is using the name for a title and I thought I better warn people just incase they see tamagotchi in the title and buy it.

It seems that a lot of sellers put tamagotchi in the title or description because they know that people will be searching for them. A lot of them aren't actual BanDai Tamagotchis, but are different "Tamagotchi style" virtual pets.

 
It's fake because it's cheap.

No tamagotchi in it,

and it's not a part of Tamagotchi.

No bandai logo.

I'll tell you something else... it's not even a real Dinkie Dino, because the seller says it's a 49 in one game, and Dinkie Dino has just one animal: the Dino...

Yeah, real (not fake) Dinkie Dino's are officially SUPER RARE items.
