I've never tried this on 4/.5, but here goes.
New to tamas? Having a hard time mating them? Well here's my easy step-by step guide on how to mate your tams.
Option 1: (1 Tam)
1. Hatch a Tam
2. Wait for it to become 7 years old
3. The matchmaker will come at: 10 am, 3pm, and 7 pm.
If you refuse all three times, she will not come back and your tam will turn old at age 12
Option 2: (2 Tams)
1. Hatch two tams, making them be of opposite gender
2. Connect them ONLY ONCE per stage
3. When they become age 5, begin the mating process by mating them like a mad person untill they are best friends or lovers.
If you don't try by age 7, the match maker will come, and if you refuse her your tam will turn old at age 12.
BUT WAIT:
So your 2 Tamas just turned old. No Frets. Before you hit that reset button, read this: you can mate the old tams, and their spawn will become: Oyajitchi! (Woooo)
This was for new tama owners who are having a bit of a hard time.
