Is this Tamagotchi real? Is it just a different product made by BanDai, or is it an actual Tama? I think I would like it, but I wanna know I'm not getting a fake.

Guess I might as well ask about these too:

Tamagotchi Morino

Tamagotchi Osutchi Is this just an entirely different "breed" of virtual pet, or is it a Tama?

Tamagotchi Original Version

2005 "Summer Issue"

Another Morino

Osutchi Mesutchi Pair I hope this one's the real deal!

Tamagotchi School

Umino Tamagotchi

Tamagotchi Genjintch

Sorry there are so many... but I really want them :p Please let me know if you think they look authentic. Most do to me, but I feel like I need a second (and third, and fourth, and fifth...) opinion! Thanks!

Everything that Nippon deals store sells is real. She? sells the older stuff presumably she buys off YahooJP auctions. ;)

All of those are real. Looks like you have a lot to learn about Tamagotchis B)

I own one of the bigger Tamagotchi sites. Take a look at Tamenagerie.com and enjoy your visit.

I actually know quite a bit about Tamagotchis, and I thought they were all real, but I wanted to double check before I started bidding on them! Thank you!

Except for the first one (It's made by JD) all are real, just Japanese and old (in most cases-some are rather new)

All are old except for Tama School/Suku. Osutchi/Mesutchi was extremely popular in Japan (probably) as it was the first connectable tama. Find a pair and at adults you can connect them to get three generations of new characters.

I don't think the first one is fake-- it says BanDai on the package. And I'm really pumped, because actually the same day (or the next day or something) that I made that post I bought an Osu/Mesu pair! They should be arriving sometime next week :) I also bought a Genjinchi.... which I'm beginning to regret, considering I don't think I really want it
