I was suppose to get a Mametchi on my V5

I really was looking forward to get a Mametchi but when my V5 reached an adult I ended up getting a Hatuga i have no idea what went wrong it really look like Mametchi

when it was a teen just had fat lips. But now it's a completley diffrent guy! Can some one explain what happened.

In V5 any character can turn into any character on the next level. It's how it works.

Um fat lips teen= kutchipatchi not mametchi

Do you mean Mamekatchi, I got a mametchi with him its likely but still slim.

You can find the correct name of your V5 tama character by scrolling through the stats screen (use button A) - the same place where you check happy/hungry hearts. It shows each character, it's name and if it is male or female.

I think the problem might be that you assumed you were getting a Mametchi ... but there are no guarantees and the character it evolved into is always dependent on the care you give it, the amount of snacks vs games you play with it and the items you choose for it to watch when it calls you for training.

However, there are some tricks to change some of the characters you get on the V5 and I think you would find this topic (in Tips & Tricks) useful: How to transform V5/Famitama characters

Wow the same exact thing happened to me but I think you would have to take perfect care of your tamas to get Mameitchi, but I feel your pain I wanted Mameitchi so bad and I was crushed when it evolved but the good news is if you give it a certain item I am pretty sure it hatugatchi will evolve into Kuro Mameitchi

Next time, try this way to get Mametchi. It worked for me. Just make sure you have at least 1 boy.

1. Give it only the 1st item when it wants to play, whatever the items may be. These are Intelligence items.

2. Don't let your tama's hunger drop lower than 2.

When they turn into adults, there should be a Mametchi (and the occasional Chantochi). Hope I helped!

I dont think Mamekatchi has fat lips!

Maybe its someone from the Easy Going family?

Yes, the Mamekatchi and pretty much the Kuchipatchi family have fat lips. The fat lips don't just come with the Kutchi's.

If you want a Smart Family, or a Mametchi at that, whenever it calls for training, use the first option on everything. I had Smart Families for about 3 generations straight on my V5, all because whenever they called for training I used the "smart" icon. If your family comes from any other character, then it's still possible to get a different family.

Try giving it rice pudding. You could have confused Mametchi with Kuromametchi on accident.

And I don't believe all these things about looking after your Tama in a certain way will make it evolve into a certain character. It might work, but I honestly don't think it does

It is easy to get Mametchi and Kuromametchi mixed up by name.

You need a Hatugatchi and the item code for sesame pudding is: 07400 43895 for Kuromametchi.

For Mametchi, you must get 80% to 100% bonding.
