They don't die. It's just when you don't spend much time her, she'll feel neglected and leave. But I think it's only on the first Pixel Chix.

The ones that don't have the Pixal Chix neglected are Roomies, Mall, Babysitter, Rockin' Puppy, Jammin' Hamster, and (i think) The 2-Story House.
