Thanks TamaKiddy!! for the idea. :)

I just wrote a litle bit...still needs editing and stuff, because it's just a rough copy. But what do you think of it so far?

"Mom, can we go? I'm am SO bored. This place is for old people." whined Delta Conner, dragging her feet along the floor of an antique jewlery shop.

"Are you calling me old, then?" her mother snapped teasingly, her eyes looking forwards as if she was determined to get something. Delta swayed her blonde hair back and forth, her blue eyes flashing. Glancing around, she saw antique necklaces and rings. They were all old with ugly designs, and none of them were any good. But her mother was looking at them with such an enthusiastic smile, as if she were in love with everything in the store. "Oh, Delta! Look at this! Isn't it beautiful?" Ms. Conner cried, picking up a silver necklace. The silver was rusty and the the necklace piece hanging from the bottom was some ort of fish holding a flower.

"Not really. Anyways, we have to go pick Robbie up from daycare. We should head out..." Delta's fvoice trailed off, noticing her mother wasn't paying attention. With a sigh, she continued to look around. The store was completely empty except for the indian man standing behind the counter, staring at us with a smile as if he hasn't had a customer in ages. I ran my figners along one of the dusty shelve. Suddenly, something caught my eye. A perfect, white box sitting alone in the corner of the shelf. It seemed to almost be shimmering. Delta picked it up, and eagerly opened the lid. Inside sat a single ring. It was gold with a pink, lacy design going across it. It was beautiful. Delta lifted it up in the air, then slowly put it on her ring finger. It was as if the ring was beckoning her to take it. She was about to turn around to tell her mother what she had found, when the man behind the counter appeared beside her.

"No, young lady! Put that back! You cannot buy this ring!" he yelled, his voice so frantic Delta could hardly tell if he was angry or not.

"Why? If I want to buy it, then I can." she shot back, challenging him. The man tried to pull the ring off of Delta's finger, but Delta pulled her hand away. She shoved the ring into her pocket, then took out $20. She threw it at the man, then ran outside and to her mother's car.

"Wait! Please! It's cursed!" the man screamed after her. Delta ignored him, hiding behind the car. Her mother came out in a hurry.

"Delta! What have you done? That man seemed really upset with you." she said, panting. Delta took the ring out of her pocket, and peered at it in the light.

"I have no clue. I paid him and everything. I think he's a little crazy. Anyways, Robbie is waiting so let's go." she explained quickly. Ms. Conner looked at her daughter in confusion for a moment, then unlocked the car. Delta hopped in, slamming the door. She clutched the ring to her chest. What did that man mean about a curse? It wasn't true..it couldn't be true. Could it..?

really good, and you lefted us on a cliff hanger! :)

carry on writing!

i know its a rough copy, but in the real one make sure to add even more description and stuff, then it'll be even better!

Thanks. xP

Oh, and ~*tamacrazy~*, I'm ALWAYS descriptive. I just was too lazy to do any in the rough copy. I just wanted a basic sketch of what I was doing.

Make sure that when you edit it, you chcik the person tense you wrote in. Like at one time it was "I ran my fingers along.." which is first person.

Then a little after that it was "Delta picked up the.." which is third person.

That really bugged me, had to point it out. :Dinos

I like it so far.

Is this 'Gaunt' idea from Harry Potter?

It's really good, but at one point you were writing in first person. Then back to calling Delta Delta, instead of 'I' 'me' and 'my'.
