The pound has been down for over a year. TNT refuses to give a ETA on when it will be back up, so until they bring it back up (which could be tomarrow....or another year from now) you cant put any pets up for adoption...you can abandon them but no one can adopt them.

Anyone can take care of it. But if the pound is down for maitenance, how are you going to get the pet to the next owner?

According to neopet rules, you can't 'give away' your pet to another player.
The pound has been closed forever, so watch out.
Also, the owner must be at least 4 months old to adopt it.

The pound hasne't been closed forever it's in the editoral that there revamping it to make it bigger and better!According to neopet rules, you can't 'give away' your pet to another player.

Jellyneo's editorial did say that the pound *might* be open on April 31...but the problem is, there is no APRIL 31. They also said they were just kidding. Also, not to hurt you, but giving Neopets to unkown players will result in the freezing of both accounts, the giver, and the reciever. I strongly dont recommend you to do that. You can't get frozen if they don't find out. How is TNT going to find out that you abandoned your pet, and it was planned that billybobjoe would adopt it? And since we're organizing it on this website, they can't find out.

I'll take care of it for you. I'm very good at taking care of neopets. I'll feed it play with it and dress it too! You can transfer it to me from the Neopian Pound using Transfer.
