So i was around when the Virtual Pets/Tamagotchi crazes started back in the late 90's. I can remember having at least 8 gigapets/tamagotchis/digital pets at one point in 1998.
So anyways, one of the "pets" I had that I absolutly loved, was the Rugrats Giga Pet made back in 1998 by Tiger Electronics.
Welllllll fortunately for me, I found it on ebay, bid on it, and won!
So in a few days, I'll be getting my Rugrats Giga.
I'm so excited! It had voice activation, a light so you could play at night, and four characters that you could play (tommy, chuckie, angelica, and spike!)
I cannot wait to get it!
Anyone remember this giga?

I actually went on a "old school" pet buying spree a couple of weeks ago. Me and my gf now own like a nano puppy, two tamagotchi music stars, a tamagotchi v4.5, a giga pet alien and a giga pet t-rex. I am currently waiting on a Digimon v1. Lol. Yeah, but that's all we're probably getting for a while... maybe a Tamagotchi +Color ;D

I had that one, it was difficult to play if I remember correctly. And the sound stopped working on mine

I never had that one. My favorite is the Floppy Frog. I also have a Talking Nano but for some reason it no longer works. Old gigas are so much fun!

I remember having one that had 8 types of animals on it... although maybe I am confused and it wasn't a gigapet...

I remember there being a 8 pet Nano Pet. It wasn't directly like the older gigapets (Or nanopets) It looks more like the Nano Horse (it s the pastel/roseyredish-pink in my sig link... Hope you can see it) It had a Baby, Cat, Dog, Horse, Rabbit, Frog, Insect, and a bear I think. I never owned one but I do remember seeing them out in stores. I'm a bit rusty on remembering the nano with 8 pets. (I forgot what pets were inside, but I'm sure it had the cat, dog and baby inside it though)
