I paused it when i went to school because I cant take it there and because I didnt want the mom to get sick so she wouldnt have been able to take care of it. The baby was born at 7:00 Tuesday at 7:00 Wednesday the mama still wasnt gone. It is now 5:10 Thursday. What went wrong? Did pausing the tama mess it up?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I'm having the same problem with one of my tamagotchis. I paused mine a few times too, but I don't think that is the problem. My female tamagotchi left her baby after 24 hours and she was paused at all of the same times. The male hasn't left his baby and it has been three days.

Maybe some tamagotchis are just more "attached" to their offspring. :)

I hope he leaves the baby soon though. The baby's twin brother is almost a teenager!

It's more than likely because you paused it. If it was paused for 8 hours, then you've removed 8 hours from the Tama development process. Time may still go forward, but the Tama doesn't age, doesn't grow, or gain characteristics (just like it won't lose hearts either). So you just have to wait for the amount of time you paused it, and then the mama will leave. Also, mine left in the middle of the night, so maybe come tomorrow morning your mama will have left the baby Tama.
