Uh, we just got ours today(yay!) and our tamagotchis have both already evolved into kids. Or whatever the second stage is. I think it's a kid... Anywho, we were wondering, how long does it take for them to go through each stage? And can you pick which tama jumps across to the other tama when you connect?

right............... ok from baby stage to child, it takes about 1 hr. The next day, the tamagotchi will evolve at the same time it evolved yesterday in to a teen ( or pubity). 3 days after that it will be a full grown adolt! all u have to do is wait 48h and it can mate (ur tama must love the otha tama must be oppeset sex).
And ur other Query. Yes u can make one tamagotchi stay at one persons screen. Go it to stand by, then the 1 u wont to stay presses the ( butten (must be facing each other) and then when that stand by/proscced screen goes away the one that is staying presses the (A) butten
