there are sssssooooooooooo many rumors that there are webkinz killers. it is just a silly rumor, designed to scare kids from going on webkinz. my bff told me that her friend had a webkinz and its head got chopped off by mrs.birdy. WRONG.NOT TRUE. this is what ganz has to say:

Yeah, it's been a horrible rumor. I personally don't know, but I'm leaning towards the fact it's a fakie, because I don't understand how GANZ would know the codes of shining stars.

I say this because they say if you enter a shining stars code into webkinz, you can pick a gun or knife to use on your webkinz. Not true.

when people say that there is a killer, its just a bunch of balonga. if i thought there was a killer, i would just be drunk or stupid. if there really was, it would be neopets or shining stars because they are jealous. or someone that hated webkinz sssssooooo much, that they wish webkinz was gone forever. but really there is NO webkinz killer because ganz makes webkinz a safe place.

Yeah.Once I was looking up webkinz things on my computer,and I saw this link that said a webkinz urban lengend or something like that.I clicked on it and read about the same rumor.There were different types of this myth.Here they are:

#1.Said that you well see a box in your room and when you click on it,a neopets will pop out of the box and take a knife and chop your webkinz head off.

This I do not belive it.

#2,Said a penguin with red eyes would apper on your screen,turn out the lights and make slashing nosies on you computer,and put a virus into your computer,and wreck your computer.

Me no belive-y.

#3.Said Miss Birdy,Dr.Quack,etc. would come into your webkinz room,turn out the lights,and make slashing nosies on your computer,and turn the lights on again and you would find your webkinz in a pool of blood.

THATS SOOOO NOT TURE.

About the Shining Stars thing, wouldn't Shining Star codes have different characters and such? And since Ganz would like to make some money with Webkinz, why would they even make Shining Star codes usable?

1. It would encourage kids to buy Shining Stars instead of Webkinz, which means Russ gets the money and not Ganz.

2. They might also need to PAY Russ because they would make THEIR codes usable on they're site!

As many of us know (especially Webkinz retailers), Ganz likes money! Why would they waste their time with Shining Stars?

No. On my Miss Birdy trading card, it said she was the nicest Penguin in Webkinz World, and they have other penguins around too.

i read about this 2 months ago n i couldn't sleep lol

Webkinz killers? That's just stupid. Sure, it might scare the heck out of some younger children who play on Webkinz World but REALLY! Webkkinz World is a super safe sight, everyone knows that! Who would start such a thing anyway?

Some rumor was going around my school that Neopets are sending people messages about killing their Webkinz and saying "they really got the message nad their Webkinz is dead" but I NEVER believed it.

My bff said that her webkinz were attacked by Ms. Birdy and I believed her for some time but then I realized that she's a storyteller anyway so she's probably lying.

OMG! Why would there be a Neopet on Webkinz? And Ganz would never put something on a CHILDREN'S site with like 3 year olds (like my teacher's son)? Whoever started this rumor probably just wanted to get some attention. Plus there's been way too many posts on TamaTalk about this! PEOPLE NOTHING WILL HURT YOUR WEBKINZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!
