Probably it's the old ones that everyone seems to be afraid of like picking up radio and telephone signals, saying curse words thinking that they'll kill you in the night or something. But, I don't belive in that. I have 3 new versions and they don't seem to do anything bad, so...

I know its redicyoulous(sp) I have an old version and my parents know about people thinking there evil but they dont belive it ethier.Once I showed my dad this trick too make my furby burp 8 times in a row and he said "how can people think that way about them there cute toys" and I argree with him.And also havent you seen the movie called childs play?If you havent,its about a doll named Chucky and he kills anyone he can find.After watching this,it looks really redicyoulous(sp) and it made me feel WAY better about furby.

I use to have a furby. It was one of the originals. Oh GOD that thing scare me! It said stuff it never was supposed to. it cursed one time. I swear! I got rid of that thing whenever the chance came! I feel sorry for the poor soul who got it. My sister;s told her to die xD

one time my furby said "I will kill you" I was thinking it was saying something else but then another time it said "die die die" and very clearly.Then it said "I will kill you at night! ha ha ha".I threw it at the wall and the batterys came out.IT WAS STILL TALKING! one day i took in the woods and left it there

um i dont for shure but furbys pick up words from us so maybe they picked it up from somewhere else and come on ppl its a toy i have 2 and they dont even say that!

Furbys will not hurt you... Might spook you but not harm you. Maybe you should be wary of where you play with them... In front of the TV can be a place they catch phrases.... Or near the phone... By a computer as well...

If they really scare you, remove the batteries and put them away... Sell them on ebay... Something.

really? Well my friend only did bring it over so we could kill it. It was her brothers. But still, furbies scare me to death.
