Tamagotchi Mame Game 1997?

It kinda looks like a bandai product but I can't find a listing on any of the usual Tama reference sites? Does anyone know anything about this?

yes. although ive never heard of it.

It's a small pocket arcade game (like tetris, or space invaders, etc.) There were a two or three versions released back in 1997 / 1998. They're not very common, but I sometimes come across them on ebay.

So, to answer your question, yes it's probably genuine Tamagotchi merchandise, but it's not a virtual pet.
