And this is important...how? Sorry but this is in the wrong section and I really don't think it matters.

And this wasn't really necessary, because it should be obvious they're fake.

they got a JD logo, not bandai..

 
If it doesn't have Bandai logo on the package it's fake. They sell a lot of fake JD "Tamagotchis" on eBay so anyone who uses eBay for Tama shopping should be on the lookout for those. And many of them are like V6 V8 V10, you know versions that haven't even come out yet.

 
I know. There are a ton of fake Tamagotchis. You see them around all the time. This topic really has no point, and it's in the wrong forum. It should be in a Tamagotchi-Related one.

 
Wrong section, and they're not fake. They're a different brand.

The reason they come up on ebay under Tamagotchi is because it's a popular search word.

Same reason you see giga pets under there occasionally.

Just because it's not a Tamagotchi, doesn't mean it's a fake toy.

It's not a fake toy but maybe the person means that there are brands out there (like JD, for example) that are putting their product out there as Tamagotchis when they're not really Tamagotchis, they're different.

They aren't fakes. Unless the ACTUAL PACKAGE says TAMAGOTCHI then its a fake.

But there's been lots of tiny differences in the spelling of TAMAGOTCHI. Here are a few:

1. TOMAGOTCHI

2. TAMOGOTCHI

3. TOMOGOTCHI

4. TAMAGOTCH
