Well, It's a V4.5 Guide, I haven't seen one around so here goes.
Buttons
A=First Button=Select
B=Middle Button=Confirm
C=Last Button=Cancel
Starting up your V4.5 Tamagotchi
There will be a Tab sticking out at the Side of the Tamagotchi Casing.
Pull it out. There will be a Long Beep.
You will then be asked to put the Date and the Time in.
Use the A button to Scroll through the Numbers and the B button to Confirm. If you make a Mistake, don't worry, just use the C button to go back.
NOTE: Be sure to Set the Date and Time correctly, as your Tamagotchi may celebrate certain festivals and Other things.
You will then Be asked to put your Birthday in.
Use the A Button to Select the Month and Day and Use the B Button to Confirm.
Remember, if you make a Mistake, don't worry, just use the C Button to go back.
NOTE: Be sure to imput the Correct Birthday, if you do, Your Tamagotchi Might just celebrate your birthday....
Now you will be asked to Put in a Username.
You can choose whatever you like but it has to be between 1-5 Letters Long.
Your Tamagotchi will now be an egg.
After a Minute or so it will hatch.
It will say whether it is a Boy or Girl.
Now you have to choose a Name for it.
It can be anything you fancy, but it has to be between 1-5 Letters Long.
Health Meter
The First Screen is to check how Hungry and How happy your Tamagotchi is.
The more Full hearts it has, the better.
The Second Screen is to check how Many Training points your Tamagotchi has.
It goes from 0-10. The More, the Better.
The Third Screen is How Many Skill points your Tamagotchi has.
There are three types of Skill Points.
Humor Skill Points.
Beauty Skill Points.
Love Skill Points.
The Skill Points Determine which Job your Tamagotchi Will get.
The Fourth Screen is To check your Tamagotchi's Name, Age and Weight.
Age: Normally Tamagotchi's Will live until they are 6-8.
Unless your Tamagotchi Gets the Matchmaker(More on her soon) it can live for as long as you want it too.
Weight: Don't let your Tamagotchi get too fat, if you think it's overweight, go and Play some games(More later)
Name: You will Get to Name your Tamagotchi As Explained earlier.
The Fifth screen is to Check your Tamagotchi's Generation and Gender.
Gender: It's either Female or Male. It will show you what gender it is when it first Hatches(as explained Earlier)
Generation: Everytime your Tamagotchi gets a Baby and then leaves, the Generation will go up one. But if your Tamagotchi Dies(Expalined Later) Then the Generation Goes back to 1.
The Sixth Screen is to Check how many Gotchi Points your Tamagotchi has.
Gotchi Points are earned by Jobs, Playing Games and Getting Money from the Gotchi King in Post(Explained Later) and from Chests bought from the Shop.
You can use these to buy Items and Food items from the Shop(More Later).
The Seventh Screen is to check your Username.
You can choose a username when you first set up Your Tamgotchi(as explained Earlier).
Your Username is to let you into Tamagotchi town.com.
Food Icon
If your Tamagotchi is Hungry, this is the Place to go.
Meals: If Your Tamagotchi is Hungry, Feed him a Meal, Only 1 for 1 Hungry heart. Use the [A] Button to Select a Meal and the B button to feed it to your Tamagotchi.
Snacks: If you want your Tamagotchi to Play a Game, Feed him a Snack. Use the A button to Select a Snack and the B button to Feed it to Him.
Buy More Meals and Snacks from the shop by using Gotchi Points.
You can only buy 11 Meals and 11 Snacks.
Be sure to only Feed your Tamagotchi a Meal if he is Hungry, or else he will get over Weight.
Toilet Icon
If your Tamagotchi makes a Mess Select this Icon by using the A Button, and Clear it by using the B Button.
Games Icon
Here you can Play games, Play with Items, Go Shopping, Imput Passwords and Look at Souveniours that you have collected.
Games: Everytime your Tamagotchi Evolves(More Later) you will get 1 or 2, even 3 Games.
There are 5 Games in Total.
Climb: Use the B Button to jump on the Passing by Clouds. If you miss a cloud, it's Game Over. There are 30 Clouds. Jump on them all and You win!
Tug of War: A Bar will be across the Top of your Tamagotchi. Try to fill it by using the B Button to stop the Bar. The More it is full, the More Power you get. If you win that round, you go to the Next round. Win 6 Rounds to win the Game.
Apples: You will have a Box. Apples will fall down. Use the A Button to go Left and the C Button to go Right, to collect the Apples. Collect 50 to win.
Shapes: Use all the Buttons to Switch two of the Shapes around to fit the Pattern that's Falling down. Do this 30 Times to win!
Manhole: Use the Buttons to collect the Gotchi Point Bags and the Hearts.
Hearts=2 Points
Gotchi Point Bags=3 Points
Get 100 Points to win.
Items: Buy Items from the Shop using Gotchi Points and then Play with them Here,
It can hold up to 32 Items. Use the A Button to Select an Item and the B Button to let your Tamagotchi Play with it.
Shop: Use Gotchi Points to buy Items and food here. The Amount of gotchi Points you have is displayed at the Top of the Screen. There are 4 Food items and Items to choose from. Items will be More Expensive than Food Items. Use the A Button to choose a Item or Food and B to Buy it.
Password: Imput Passwords from Tamatown by using A to Scroll through the Numbers and B to Select it.
Souveniour: Look at Souveniours you've collected from Tamatown.
Connection Icon
Work: Send your Tamagotchi to Pre-School, School and His/Her Job.
Pre-School: Your Tama will do this Automatically.
School: Your Tamagotchi's Teacher Will hide an Item in a Box. Watch the Sequence, then using the A button to Move around and the B button to Confirm the Box, choose the Box, you think the Item is in. Earn Skill Points by doing this.
Job: There are Various Jobs your Tamagotchi can get. Earn Money and Skill Points by Playing the Minigames(There's a Topic about it in Tamagotchi Tips and Tricks, Here on TamaTalk)
PC: Send your Tamagotchi To Tamatown By using the Password Provided and Imputing the Password Provided on TamaTown to come Back.
Jensei: Connect to other V4.5 and V4 Tamagotchi by using this. Choose Either Game, Present or Vist. Your Tama Will Say STAND BY. Then Press B It will say connect. Hold the 2 Tamagotchi's close together and then It will do whatever you have chosen it to do.
Other: Connect to Versions Below V4 using this. Do the same as you would with Jensei but without selecting Game, Present or Visit, it will do that Randomly.
Training Icon
Sometimes your Tamagotchi Will Become Upset or Naughty, use this Disipline Icon to Train it.
Use the A Button to Select Whether Praise(If Upset) or Time Out(If Naughty).
Every time you Train your Tamagotchi, the Training Bar will go up one.
Medicine Icon
If your Tamagotchi is Sick or If you've fed it too Much and It has a Toothache, use this to cure it.
Sometimes it will Take more than One dose of Medicine to Cure it.
Mail Icon
You will Often get Mail.
There are 3 Types of Mail, Fortune, Letter and Important Letter.
Fortune Cookie: This will determine the Fortune of your Tama. Get 3/3 on Anything and something Will bcome better.
Letter: You can get Either the Gotchi King( Who will give you a Present, or Gotchi Points) Robber(Who Takes Gotchi Points away) Love Heart, Mess or a Skull.
This is all chosen at Random so Keep an Eye open.
Important Letter: Your Tama will get one of these if it is time to go to School, Pre-School or get a Job.
The Icon will blink if you have Mail.
Freind List
Freinds: Hold up to 50 Freinds and Veiw them Here!!(By connection)
Present: Wrap or Delete an Item or Food Item Here.
Points: Want to make a Donation to the Gotchi King? Well come here and donate some, Donate a Certain amount of Money and the Gotchi King Might Give you something..
Family: Veiw your Tamagotchi's Parents and Tamagotchi's That have Died here.
Attention Icon
You Cannot Select this Icon.
It will Highlight if your Tamagotchi needs something.
The Matchmaker
If your Tamagotchi is 6 or up, the Matchmaker will come.
Press the B Button to see the Partner she has chosen for your Tamagotchi to Marry.
The Select either LOVE or NO LOVE by using the A Button and The B Button.
There will be Fireworks and the Your Tamagotchi will have Either a Baby Girl or a Baby Boy Next to Him/Her.
After 24 Hours, your Tamagotchi Adult will Leave.
You will then be able to Take care of the new Tamagotchi and the Process begins again.
Passing Away
If you Neglect your Tamagotchi it will die.
You will lose all your Items, Food Items, Souveniours and Freinds.
It will go back to Go back to the Begining.
