Okay so i was googleing v5 designs and i didint see mine on there.... is mine a v5.5?

and oh teens cant go on the dating show can they? I heard that they turn into adults if they do? can someone shine some light on this for me? oh and when and if my tamas become adults can they go on the dating channel at will? or is that old hag still choosing random times to marry people?

Anyway... As far as I know, the V5.5 will be for Asia & Oceania (Australia.) However, the V5 Refresh, also known as the V5 Celebrity has been shipping in the USA for a few months now. Comparing pictures of the V5 Celebrity and V5.5, it seems they are the same (except the V5 Celebrity comes with a mini CD-ROM containing games.)

An easy way to tell a V5 Celebrity from a regular V5 is to check which games are on it.

The built-in games on the regular V5 are:

TV Surfing

Tea Time

Golf Putt (available from second generation)

Shoe Pairs (available from second generation)

The built-in games on the V5 Celebrity are:

Tama Fans

Pool Play

Tennis

Safe Box

Cue Ball (available from second generation)

Jewels (available from second generation)

Teens can not go on the dating show. There is no way to speed up the growth.

baby + 1 hour = toddler

toddler + 48 hours (2 days) = teen

teen + 48 hours = adult

adult + 48 hours = now can mate (now can use the dating show.) They become parents when they mate.

Note: The above are unpaused times.

Yes, the matchmaker is the host of the dating show. She will offer one potential mate each time you use the dating show. You can use the dating show three times a day. After that, she has a nap for the rest of the day. You can trick your Tamagotchi toy into letting you use the dating show three more times by setting the clock to some time your characters should be asleep (such as 11 PM), then setting it back to some time they should be awake.

P.S. when setting a custom avatar, the "Upload a new image from your computer" really does mean "from your computer". It doesn't mean from a photo hosting web site. Copy the image from the photo hosting site onto your computer first, then you can set it as an avatar.
