1. Wave or yell "Hi!" to random people. You may not know them, but this will give the impression you are popular.
2. If someone behind you says "Can you walk any slower?" say, "Yes" and walk slower.
3. If someone behind you says "Can you walk faster please?" say "No" and walk at the same speed. Unless it's a prefect.
4. Say random stuff to random people. I once made a friend by saying "Funky ruler!" Honestly.
5. Create a gang and find a place to hang out. Could be round the back of the music block, or behind the portakabins.
6. There's bound to be a group of idiots hanging round somewhere. Try and avoid them if poss, but if you have to go near them, they will probably try and whack you. Avoid. Duck. Whatever.
7. Another tip is to look down at the floor. People will think you are shy, but really it's to watch out for legs that try to trip you up.
8. You are bound to come across a nasty teacher at one point. They're no big deal. If they really scare you, imagine them doing something stupid. Like sitting on the loo.
