how do you make your V5 grow faster?

how do you make your tamagotchi grow faster i can only get it up to child which is on now and has been

like that for ages and i feed them and play with them lots but they take ages to grow so please help

They don't grow when they're paused.

V5 are paused when left on the travel channel, at the clock-set screen, or when left at the login password screen. Also, if you press the reset button, then select download, the counter for that growth stage may start all over again.

Here are the normal growth times for a V5.

baby + 1 hour = toddler

toddler + 48 hours (2 days) = teen

teen + 48 hours = adult

adult + 48 hours = now can mate (now can use the dating show.) They become parents when they mate.

Note: The above are unpaused times.
