"Good batteries" are even worse, those only last 6 days. I'm really thinking of getting a Tama Plus. I have heard its only the US ones that eat batteries like crazy.

Why would the connections go through battiers faster than the plus? Aren't they the same, just one's in english and the other's in japanese.

bandia is really stupid with these tamagotchis who eat batteries. i'm using a store bought battery and it's not any better or worse. do UK ones eat batteries?

Yep, I've got 4 of the US tamagotchis and their batteries all died within 16 days!!!
That's just sick!
I bought my first Japanese Plus in MARCH and the batteries are just as good as ever.
I can not understand why the American ones run out so quickly.
I highly recommend the JP version.

I emailed bandai asking why the tama connections die so fast. Ill post the reason if they ever respond back.
