When your tamagotchi is an adult, when its 5 you send it to the love place, kinda like the v5 dating show. Can an oldie do that?

 
I believe I read somewhere that they CAN go to the matchmaker as OLDIES. I have yet to make it to the OLDIE stage though to confirm it.
