For an expirement, I started up a V5 family and tried to connect it with V6 music star. It didn't work and it said to use a key for the V5. Anyone know how I can connect the V5 with the V6?

 
When both of your Tamagotchis are in the "STAND BY" phase, press only the middle key of the V5, DO NOT press the middle button on the V6.
