Confused about AP/TP on the angelgotchi

I just got my lovely angelgotchi!

I've tried to find out info about my little guy in regards to feeding lots of candy to raise the angel points, therefore getting a better character - but how often should I be feeding him candy?

He's currently at the Maruten (toddler) stage, and his AP is 8 - is this ok?

Will feeding him lots of candy make him fat and ill like on the normal tamagotchis?

Help! I want my little guy to grow up big and strong!

Well, I was never sure what the AP was supposed to be. I assume it's similar to weight. I never really fed mine a lot of candy, and I always seem to get the conjoined twins character which is really good. I'm not sure if the amount of candy you feed it affects the character it turns into. Just take extremely good care of it to get a good character. They're relatively easy to care for. Hope I helped.

Okay, I learned that AP helps decide what character you get. Keep it as high as it can get to get the best characters.
