Mine and my daughters are US. If I can ever get with my eBay seller, I think the ones from her might be from Japan. (Not sure, colors are light pink and light blue). Just wondering if we'll be able to cross-breed.

Just wondering. Can a US Tama and a Japanese and/or UK Tama mate? Has anyone tried it yet?

I was told they can, and I certainly hope yours do. I ordered a Connexion, and had it connect to my Connection... so the IR communication did happen. But I seem to have a glitchy Connexion with circuitry that doesnt like to play well with others, or with any batteries. It sorta sucks, but it's still a tamagotchi so I still love it. (and no, it's not a fake.)
If you do connect them, please do update as to what happened! I'm certain mine is just not a properly functioning tamagotchi, but I'd like to be kept informed as to whether or not anyone else has this problem

i have a connection and a connexion, they connect just as my 2 connections do
