I'm dying to get this game, BUT it's only in Japanese (and I can't read that) and BECAUSE it's Japanese, it's way too expensive. It's been out around a year, so do you think Sega'll get around to releasing it in the US? I want it so bad! :D

I own the game.

And I doubt it will get a US release. I collect games, but I never playe dmy copy. Ever see the adorble adverts for it?

Check out Wikipedia or Google. Usually it will say if it's scheduled to have an American release and when it will be :(

Yume Neko don't seem to have a NA release. Alot of these games don't get a NA release.

Wikipedia isn't 100% correct.

COnsidering Yume Neko DS came out around in 2008 last year. Catz GBA is the western version of Kawaii Koneko on the GBA.

I didn't say it was 100% correct. It does have all of the information on releases though.

Gamefaqs and IGN has better release dates than Wiki.. since anyone can edit wiki.

The only cat DS games I have seen are Catz and Purr Pals. Not sure with the others.

I've looked up 10 games on wiki for releases. so far 7 have been right, the other 3 haven't come out yet. So, that's why I can stand and say Wikipedia has a good source.

I figure if it's been a year (and it has) and Sega hasn't made any move to make an NA version of the game, they won't. They should though. It'd be nearly as big as Nintendogs (I say "nearly" because dogs seem to be a bigger hit than cats).

THAT'S IT. I'm going to try and get the game even if it IS in Japanese. Besides, I have a friend who can read and speak Japanese, and she's willing to help translate stuff. *seriously determined expression*

Play Asia is one of your better sources to import games. Their service is excellent.

Hey, do any of you tamatalkers out there PLAY Yume Neko DS and if you have, do you think you could answer some questions for me? I'm not going to be able to really read anything in the game, so it'd be nice to know how to get around it or how things work. One thing I want to know is how to teach your cat to come when it's called, or how to teach it tricks. Also, it'd be cool if someone knew a site or something that had the instruction manual for this game translated into English. I could use all the advice and help I can get! :D

Hey Starman.exe, I don't suppose anywhere on the case of Yume Neko it mentions how many cats you can own, does it? =S Have you ever OPENED the game or just let it sit on a shelf somewhere? Oh, and this is random, can you read Japanese?

I cannot find this info on the internet no matter how many variations of keywords I've typed. =(

You can buy this thing for the DS called an r4. It's basically a micro SD card adapter for the DS. What you could do is buy and r4 (usually 30-50 dollars) and download the ROM of the game onto your computer (just google "Ds roms" to find downloads). Once you have the ROM downloaded on your computer, you can use the r4 adapter to put the ROM on your DS.

Remember, R4 and DSTT are technically illegal devices. Please don't encourage their use. :p

If you want, I can take images and scan the instructions if you wish. :3

Don't worry, I learned a while ago (After I lost a karma point asking about them) that if TamaTalk doesn't allow it (and TT allows a lot of topics), must be bad then! Besides, I figure its more fair to actually buy the game than download.

 REALLY??? Oh yes please! I'd really appreciate that! Thank you so so so much! By the way, are you going to post links to the images? Or email or...?
