I personally agree with you as well.I personally think that the Bandai corporation is a sellout. What they are doing here is simply just a publicity stunt and an advertisement for their website and products directed to a populous who cares enough to listen.
Open your eyes, people.
They don't care about us.
They just care about their revenue and popularity. This is just typical corporate carp that they're shoving down our throats yet again.
I assure you that my point is very valid here.

Of course its all marketing by Bandai. Thats how they make their money, thats how they are a company and that is how they are able to produce tamagotchi...with our money! Without marketing/advertissement and these corporate "games" you speak of, we wouldn't have a product. Thus, Tamagotchi wouldn't exist. I don't know about anybody else but I'm rather glad Bandai has done what they have with Tamagotchi.
