I don't know much before the TMGC+C but it is realy good,if you don't have one you should try getting one.

Best Japanese before the Color? I'd have to say the Entama or Uratama. I have an Ura, which I bought for the blue pixels (blue is my favorite color). I really would like to get an Entama as well. Maybe after I get the Tamawalkie. For ancestors, probably the Angel or Santaclautchi.

I guess this is all in personal favors.
I believe the devilgotchi or santagotchi was one of the best and still is. But many may say the angelgotch or tamagothi suku was the best. It all depends on the person.

I hear ya, bubbletea. I got lucky and got my green one @ Goodwill for $20 or $25, still NIB except I had to get new batteries. That one stays in our safe til Xmas.
