One last chance,

They all left me for who I used to be,

I'd spend my time in one last dance,

I told them, I told them, I just couldn't be me.

Farewell to Miss Sanity!

There's no need to worry, I promise,

I just drove myself off the cliff at the edge of this city,

I wish I could tell you when our time ends,

When I leave this place she called home.

Did you ever mean those lies you told?

Did you ever think I'd believe those tales that got so old?

Joke is on you, my dear friend!

I will never believe a word you say again!

These smiles are free, our scowls will cost your heart and soul.

Farewell to Miss Sanity!

There's nothing wrong, I promise,

I just drove myself off the cliff at the edge of this city,

I wish I could tell you when our time ends,

When we leave this place she called home.

Drown myself in memories that were never told,

Just bring me back to days I want to remember,

Days that I can live on forever.

But these characters we play, they die today!

For every story they believed,

For every lie I couldn't keep,

Everytime I said goodbye,

I saw the sparkle in her eyes.

And I lie on the floor,

Waiting for her eyes to shine,

Waiting for the light to tell me goodnight.

Farewell, Miss Sanity!

Tonight is the night I say goodbye to this broken city.

So yeah, I guess it's not terrible. I don't like it too much though. Feedback would be nice. <3

It's not terrible at all, Britt. [And no, I'm not just saying this because I'm your friend.]

I really do like it.

I just wish that we could somehow have the rythm. D:

I made music for it. Not really but in my head I did. I sang it. xD My brother said it was good.

But If I tried to write a song it would come out like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. xD
