I tend to get my books from Hastings and Wal-Mart (though my Wal-Mart's book selection has really gone downhill lately). Of course, sometimes I get mine secondhand from Goodwill or this place called Well-Read Bookstore.

So where do you usually purchase books from?

Definitely not bookstores, for sure.[/sarcasm]

Usually from my mummeh. ;D

Or otherwise, when there's a book out I really, really want [like the Harry Potter's], chances are, they're eveywhere - so I just walk into any old shop and BAM! I have Harry Potter. :D

The school book order xD I don't usually buy books. I prefer borrowing

I usually go to the library or do a book swap with friends.

But Alice Sebold's books are amazing so I own them. Second hand off Trade Me!

Barnes and Noble or Borders. :3

I prefer Borders because they also have music in the back of the store. -happydance-

I buy most of my books from Dymocks, Angus And Robertson and Borders.

K-Mart, Big W and Target also sell books but they have much less stock than the actual book stores.

Borders is my favourite bookstore as it has the largest selection of books and cute leather couches to sit and read them on. :)

I also borrow books from my school library, they have a very good selection!

To be honest. I don't buy any books. I usually go to the library to check books out. But in the past, I bought books from the Scholastic Book Fair.
