Well, I've not written in a while, so I thought I'd share a short, and slightly lame piece that won't make much sense to you, nor will it to me.

I'll sit alone at the bar for one more night,

Except for the girl on the last seat to the left,

The tender looks at me with a sigh again,

Because this is how we spend our deaths.

Don't bother trying to think,

Suck it up and order another drink,

Don't bother with formaldehyde,

Killers don't cry.

We're already over the edge,

Pull yourself together and out of your bed,

Just don't go outside,

Ghosts don't lie.

Wear your still heart on your sleeve,

Keep your gun there too,

I'll buy you another drink,

Take it slow now, down to the floor,

Listen to the guitarist in the corner,

All the clinking glasses, though we're alone,

Do killers cry?

You won't worry any more.

Down your gasoline greatfully,

And let it all float away,

Your hands are cold but so are mine,

Do eyes lie?

Give it a minute, then float down,

Nothing (but this) lasts forever,

Breathing settles down,

Do killers cry?

Not tonight.
