Im sorry if some of you pet owners already know this but im just helping out the new pet owners who dont know much about tamagotchis 
All you have to do is....
when your tamagotchi makes a beeping noise see if he/she is hungry or happy if he/she has all heart filled give him/her a time out just click the first icon on the second row and choose time out.
If your tamagotchi beeps and it shows him/her crying then select the same icon and select Praise.
