That's the V3 antenna. It's loose so it wouldn't have the bandai logo on the front. HOWEVER, the buttons are labeled, which has never happened on any tamagotchi I've ever seen. Likely a fake, based on that. THe egg also seems too large.

 
If you look at the listing they do say its a clone.

The word is Fake. we aren't debating whether or not it's fake, just saying not all the tamagotchis say "tamagotchi" on them.

The japanese tamagotchis usually don't, like Keitai and Akai.

All the japanese V1s were textless as well!

yeah, definately a fake. as far as i know all v3s say tamagotchi on top and that egg is not a v3 egg. the v3 egg looks exactly like a v4 or v4.5 egg.

 
hmmm yes its a had one maybe a fake just maybe. :( :D :huh: ;)

heres reasons why it is fake

(1) there an antenne of a v3 on it

(2)the egg is waaaaaaaaaay to big

heres reasons on whiy it is'nt fake

(1) i have seen a tamagotchi b4 with it labeed a,b,c my freind had one from auzzie.

(2) the screen looks familiur not the egg though.
