VMA Awards.

I don't really have too much to say about the VMAs. I only watched it because Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, and Green Day were there.

For the rock video, I was hoping for Fall Out Boy to win, but I was just as thrilled when Green Day was celled up. (BTW, Billie Joe's new hair is hawt. :3) And I was super disappointed when Britney won Best Pop Video. Cobra Starship really did deserve the win.

Green Day's performanced was unreal for an awards show. I went to a show in July, and it was exactly like that, but with no censoring. xD I wasn't surprised at all when he decided to strees out security and got as many people as possible on stage. They're so energetic and unpredicible, now matter what event they're playing at.

Kanye was just being who he is. Nothing too out of his limit. A giant douchebag. Always has been, always will be. What he did to Taylor was horrible, but it wasn't surprising. One day, I hope she gets to jump on top of his deflated ego.

Pete and Gabe's indroduction to Lady Gaga was adorable. :3 Pete's clothing line is actually selling the shirt he was wearing, with Gabe real phone number on it. And if Gabe changes his phone number, his real e-mail is on the back. xDDDD I so want one.

I didn't watch it. But I heard about the Kanye thing on the radio. I think that was extremely rude and uncalled for. He owes her AND Beyonce an apology. What a shame that he ruined their moments on stage. But it was lovely of Beyonce to give up her speech time to let Taylor have her moment. ^^

Some of my friends are saying the whole incident was staged, but I don't think that's true.

The Kanye West thing was a big deal at my school xD

I love Taylor Swift. She handled it really well, and so did Beyonce.

They both deserved their awards.

Well I didn't watch the actual program, but I saw 2 videos online.

The Kanye West thing - That was really cold, in my opinion. o:

Lady Gaga's Performance - .___." I felt really sick after watching that. I should have known. TK told me there was blood in it. I'm deathly bloodphobic. I really thought I was going to faint.

So yeah. xD

I didn't get to watch it yet, but I did hear about the Kayne West thing.

It was pretty rude.........

But for some reason I thought it was sweet. o.o

I don't think it was staged either.

Kanye wouldn't stage something that he knew was going to negatively effect his career.

Plus he's done this in the past so it only makes sense he'd do it again.

I felt really bad for Taylor Swift. She is one of the most wholesome artists out there today, and it was a shame it had to happen to her.

Beyonce handled it well though, and I think it was really big of her to give up her moment for Taylor. :]

I enjoyed the show overall. I think that Russel is hilarious (though didn't he host last year too?). I enjoyed Lady Gaga's performance. She's entertaining.

And Green Day performed! And Justin Bieber came out to announce Taylor Swift's performance! Yay haha. :]

Taylor won her first VMA award ever, Best Female Artist. She was on stage accepting her award, and then Kanye West jumped up and started telling everyone basically how Beyonce deserved to win and Taylor didn't.

Later in the show, when Beyonce won... Best Video (I think?), when she came up to give her acceptance speech, she called Taylor up to have her moment.

Kanye is a giant douche.

I really liked him, I did. When him mom died and all that happened I really had sympathy for him because I thought he was a nice guy.

Now I lost my respect for him. Taylor was so proud of herself and he just came up and basically said "You lost."

I watched most of it. I almost peed when Gabe and Pete came out xD I liked it a lot. Kanye West was a jerk. And I actually liked Lady Gaga's performance. But Yeah. Cobra, FOB, and Green Day was why I watched it for the most part. When everyone was talking about it at school I pulled out my phone and showed the picture of me and Gabe xD It was coolio. And Nate's still taking calls btw. But i haven't gotten ahold of him yet 3:

I was upset Russell Brand was the host. D: I hate him. He talks about politics at the wrong times and he's totally rude and wrong.

 

Anyways, I only saw half, then I feel asleep. I liked Lady Gaga and I saw the Kanye West thing ! I thought it was staged until today. That was just weird. I love his music but as a person he's weird.

Agh, that's stupid. She didn't deserve for him to do that, I thnk she's really talented and had a lot of good songs out this year , that was pretty mean.. ;o

I feel bad for Beyonce too. That had to be mega embarrassing. The whole time he was up there she had this look on her face like, "omg, get off the stage."

I heard Kanye was banned from the VMA awards. All his nominations where taken away as well.

Well, I think he deserved it. Taylor Swift seems like such a pure and nice girl. And she writes her own songs. He had no right to treat her with such a level of disrespect.

The incident happened near the beginning of the event.

Kanye was escorted off the premises, meaning he wasn't allowed to be there for the rest of the ceremony.

And he was nominated for quite a few awards, and they basically disqualified him and made him ineligible to win.
