I am now in possession of a genuine 1998 DevilGotch that i purchased on eBay. I wonder how many are still available in the world, as they pop up every now and then 
the color is black and purple with silvery wings. The wings are a great detail, don't you think
DevilGotch is by far the best ancestor i've played with to date! it's in japanese, but thanks to Tamenagerie.com it's easy to figure out. the most troublesome thing was the hand-shaking deal. the icons are simple and even though the food and snack are in japanese, it eats food and not the letters
It is a very easy-going pet, simpler than the AngelGotch, even though it "does more". pranks, and stuff, it has thrown pie on me,
gone to sleep in the middle of a game and is, at times, causing a racket when i sleep. the most adorable feature is the handshake. He is so happy when i do.
it was absolutely worth the money and waiting period. the only irritating thing is how LOUD it is!
and another thing, is it bad for the pet if the power goes down to zero? thanks
