this was an assignment for school, and i'm impressed at what i wrote. here it is:

Hat, jacket and scarf,

I make my first footsteps in fallen snow

The imprint of my boots making an identity trail.

I know where I've traveled before, looking at this trail.

The ground looked soft, like my warm scarf,

And I get disappointingly cold when i touch snow.

Don't say I like snow

Because if i stay on this trail any longer,

I'll soffocate with my scarf.

As I take off my scarf more, the snow goes away, and so does the trail.

for those who don't know what a tritina is, it's a poem that is made up of 4 stanzas, each line on each stanza ending with the same 3 words. like in this poem, the lines in each stanza ends with the words snow, trail, and scarf.

format:

Stanza 1

1

2

3

Stanza 2

3

1

2

Stanza 3

2

3

1

Stanza 4

one line that has all 3 words.

you'll understand when you read the poem, even though i did make one mistake. xD
