The oldest Tamagotchi character I've ever heard of was Aaron, raised on a V3 by Kyliesmum. He died at age 145, on Aug 7, 2006. You can read all about it here: https://www.blogagotchi.com/kyliesmum2/

If you mate your Tamagotchi character, they will have a baby. After the baby is old enough, the adult will return to Tamagotchi Planet, leaving the baby in your care. This usually occurs when the adult is about 7-10 days old. If you take good care of the baby, and it lives to be an adult, it can mate and have a baby of its own. In this manner you can take care of generation after generation of Tamagotchi characters, continuously. I don't know what the record is for this. I, personally have raised a pair of Japanese KeiTamas (which are sort of like V3s) for over 30 generations (which took over 6 months to do).

^ She means that the Tamagotchi was called Aaron, the owner is Kyliesmum xD ;]That's very old O:
And you said she but Binary's a guy. x'3

That is very old indeed! Mine have never been that old before.

The oldest tamagotchi I've raised was only 36. I don't even really know how she died. I took perfect care of her, and then one morning, she woke up and just kind of died.

That was on a V2.

Imma try to beat the record for oldest living tama that was 145 years.... It'll take work for me.... LOL!
