Ok...i have no idea why i thought this up or even why i wrote it.
He stared blankly at the jeweled dagger protruding from her chest as the blood seeped from her heart. His face was the picture of denial as he peered closer...
But then...a small smile played his lips, his eyebrows raising slightly.
Then that smile became more twisted and psychotic. His eyes bloodshot and pupils slanted.
He chuckled lightly...louder even. It became a slow laugh and then, as he fell onto his back, a mad cackle.
How he roared with laughter at the knowledge that he had killed his sweetheart, his reason for existence.
But as realization dawned upon him he began to weep, cry, sob...oh how he cried and cried.
He wrapped an arm around the body of who was once his and ripped out the dagger. He cursed at it, screaming hell at it as he thrust it into his own heart, twisting it slightly to finish his descent into madness and insanity.
They were found the next day...a bloody couple lost in the tangled web that life had woven.
