I had no clue if I should post this in my other topic? Probably not.

I don’t want anything to ruin these peaceful days.
If anything, I will make the most of them.
Almost everyday, there’s a smile upon my face.
Those other times, there’s barely a smirk.
But all of our happy days have a limit,
Soon something will break and cause us all to end up lost.
So I will try and make the best of it,
And smile through every day, bad or good.
I hardly will ever look at the bad side of things,
And hope that this philosophy is a good one.
I’ll stay out of wars, so I don’t cause strife.
And assist my loved ones in this brutal fight.
Sometimes I start doubting my sweet smile,
And I find tears starting up in my eyes.
Throwing them all away, I continue to grin,
But my heart is slowly breaking down.
I’m in this newborn world, ready to live.
And slowly I’ll make the best of my new life.
But now, all of those smiles and laughs,
Will now mean something, they won’t be a cover.
