i need to do a project about tamagotchi

but i don't don't the name of the components:(

can someone help me, please? :D

what is the components name of no.1?

what is the usage about the piece of plastic?(no.2)

is it a IR sensor of no.3?

is it a normal red LED of no.4?

in addition, what is the relationship between ir sensor and the LED?

Okay, well this is all I can tell you.

No.2 &gt;&gt; is not a plastic....thats a piece of metal that the battery is placed on (positive/negative end of circuit..not sure which one)

No.3 &gt;&gt; I do believe that this is indeed the Infrared sensor that connects the tamagotchis together.

Sorry I couldn't provide any more info.

Okay I just started back up my tamagotchi and realized that the strip of metal circled in No.2 is the NEGATIVE (-) end of the circuit. The positive is along the inside of the circular hole where the battery is placed into.
