Hi all,
I have purchased two 1998 furbies NIB from ebay ,unpacked them installed batteries ,held down the tongue pressed the reset button and nothing happened ????????Have I done something wrong? are they both duds ? is there a trick ?

If they sent batteries.... Check the date. Those are most likely expired. It is also possible they don't work due to them being in storage for so long. They could have also lied to you about them being new in box and they kept the box.
Well, If its not moving with new batteries... You might have to fix it. With as little as you said... I would try to look at it carefully.

Or it could be as simple as putting the batteries in incorrectly.

I can try to help you out but I haven't had any major issues with my on Furby toys.
