Kandy, the figurines are pretty expensive, but it's worth buying 1-3.

Yes. I believe there are at least two factors which effect who your Tama-Go character grows up to be: whether your current generation is odd or even, and the number of care misses.Binary, are you planning on going to raise your new female generation as an OK or poor care Tama to try to get different characters?

Chamametchi has a toy shop, and Violetchi has a flower shop. I'm not sure which other full figurines have shops but I know about these two. They each have the choices of "Game, Shop, Item" in their menu. The "Item" option is for using the items you buy in their shop.I don't think the figurines have toy shops. On the first page of this topic Binary shows the Ringotchi figurine and it only has 2 options. Game and Shop, and shop only carries different types of food! Perhaps furbitchi, you were talking about the games?
You can view the full specs on what each figurine has if you go to Bandai's website and download the instructions for the figure from the page about each one.

Ringotchi and Kuchipatchi have restaurants.
Memetchi has a dress shop.
Violetchi has a plant/flower/tree shop (they stock with seeds!)
Serrafina_Pekkala, I found this on the PDF file available on the official website. I forgot that there are instruction guides which say everything except for the store items provided. I expect there to be a wide variety of different shops in the near future.

And some people have made charts showing perfect care characters. Although this isn't certain, the characters may also be based on an even/odd generation system.

Do you have to select "others" in Music Star when you connect it with Tama-go?

I imagine we'll need a few more generations growths, and good notes about levels of care given, in order to be able to make an accurate growth chart.Binary, I was wondering, are we in the works with a growth chart? If so, can we be reasonably certain that Lovelytchi is the perfect care female character? I didn't leave my TMGO alone for a single second and got her, and I see a few others have had that result as well...
Yes, I've tried it. The Tama-Go can connect to the V5-series and the MusicStar Tamagotchis. You have to select "others" on the MusicStar.Have you tried to connect Tama-go with Music Star, v5 or another Tama-go?

Tot Claims: Parents Abducted by Aliens

A very young Nokotchi awoke this morning to find her parents gone. "This is so unlike them. They must have been abducted by aliens!" She is quoted as saying. Luckily a human has volunteered to foster the young girl in her parents absence.
Meanwhile, video surveillance has revealed that perhaps Nokotchi was right; maybe her parents were abducted by aliens.
