Gotchi Shinbun for July 2010

The Gotchi Shinbun, in case you didn't know, is a monthly newsletter Bandai JP does in the Japanese Tamagotchi website, basically advertising their various products.

These are what this month's Shinbun is talking about:

- A new toy based off of the phone Lovelitchi has in the anime

 

- Some new cards for the Tamagotchi Datacardass game (An arcade machine which can use special cards with barcodes on them)

 

- A character spotlight on Spaceytchi

 

- The Idol Park that Bandai JP has opened

 

- New iD colors

 

- Another new toy (based on Lovelin's bus in the anime; appears to be musical)

 

- Bandai JP's Tamagotchi chocolate lollipops

 

- A new issue of what appears to be a Tamagotchi magazine ("Volume 3")

 

- A date for when the next Shinbun will be out, and a section for signing up for emails of what I would assume would be the Shinbun and maybe other Tamagotchi news in Japan

EDIT: Waromnimon from Tama-Zone said that according to the text in the section with the phone-toy, the "Telurin" (I think the name of Lovelitchi's phone) toy has 5 minigames on it. Also, he said that the next revision for the Datacardass arcade game is pirate-themed. Thank you!

so cool i will probaly get one if it comes on ebay or when i go to japan the colour may be abit girly but ill get lavulitchi's phone

Hmm...Maybe Bandai US could release the phone-toy in the US as a compliment (TamaTown, if there's gonna be the anime in the US, has to have some more products or ones based on the show, but Bandai had better not just make one that's slightly like the Japanese version!).

These things sound like a work in progress in Japan...we might be setting our sites too soon for it to come here in the US.
