i got a tama in china and it said it was a v4 and it had the circle antenna but i got uracharacters and i found the characters i get on the v4.5 tamas. i bet this is a fake! but the box and tama look very real but on the tama there no was the sign saying tamagotchi connection or something. sorry i cant put up a pic. is this a fake?

To get the ura characters on the v4 is impossible,so it's probably a fake.
But check the packaging if it says BANDAI on it.
Or...
What did the title say?(like tamagotchi v4.5, for example.)
If it says something like Urapet, or tama pet,well yes,it's a fake.
And if none of these help, check a growth chart and see if you didn't mistake a character for another.

Its just a JinSei Plus,.. Some of the designs had circle antennes and others.had stars but yes its real its a european tama.

oh yah true there is a video on youtube i saw it last time it was the origame desgine it was a tamagotchi v4 but it is really a tamagotchi v4.5 so it is not fake
