Yeap. Bought a Navy blue Tamagotchi Color for $62 on eBay. Y'think it's worth it?

I hope I'll be able to play it. I heard it's pretty self-explanitory even though it's in Japanese. But I'm nervous that I might get really confused about the gut points and room remodels. It's kind of... a lot to put into a Tamagotchi.

If you have a Color, pleeeease let me know how it's working out for you and if it's really as easy as the internet says it is. I would really hate to have wasted $62.

Got mine from a friend for $48, new. Definitely worth it to me. Despite everything being in Japanese, it's really easy to figure out. I highly recommend checking this out, from binary: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=157709. I used this the first time around as a quick guide and the rest of the time, you just get used to everything and it's pretty much straight up memorization. I love that it's in color. I love how you don't need to go online for TamaTown and all that, I never really wanted to bother with all that. Everything is incorporated into the Tamagotchi itself. The TMGC+C kind of reminds me a bit of the vintage Tamagotchis (besides the obvious connection part) in that there's a simplicity about it, you're kind of just taking care of it.

It's absolutely worth it. :D

The Japanese wasn't a problem for me. If you know how to navigate an English Tamagotchi, you should have no problem with it being in Japanese. The only thing I had a problem with is after I left it alone for a bit, I forgot what everything was. But that's just a product of short-term memory loss. :D

And as OldSchoolTama said, everything about is just there for you. You don't have to bother with getting on the Internet, or this and that and blah, blah, etc, etc. xD It also has really smooth gameplay, and the buttons are responsive and solid. The only thing I didn't favor was the lack of original characters, but I'm just a fan of the older versions, and that's where that comes from.

You'll definitely enjoy it. :p

Please tell me you got it from maido39-osaka

I just got my navy blue one an hour ago in the mail. I bought it for 54 bucks from maido39-osaka. It's DEFINITELY worth it. She was selling a $62 one, I guess you were the one who bought it. The Japanese is...comfy. I don't usually read what the Tamagotchis say half the time anyways so now the fact that I can't doesn't make much of a difference, and binary's guide explained all the extra stuff.

On Amazon.co.jp the Tamagotchi+Color Hexagonntchi are $16.70 usd
The ones you mention are Hexagontchis though, which are considerably less expensive than the ones we're talking about, the Tamagotchi Plus Colors, which typically go for $50-60 USD. :furawatchi:

If I had quite a lot of money I would definitely buy one, i'm just hoping Bandai US is planning on making the Tamagotchi + Color

I got my TMGC+C for around the same price and I think it's worth it. I'm on my 42nd generation now :D

And yes: it's easy to figure out. You eventually remember where everything is.

Congratulations! I was considering buying both, but I knew someone out there would want it. I'm glad it's someone from here. Maido39-osaka is an amazing seller. She packaged everything perfectly and gave me a free 'Gotchi figure! (and some Japanese green tea bags, but I think that was to cushion the box). Believe me, you'll love the +C. The navy color is amazing, and there are so many cool features. The Japanese doesn't even matter to me, I actually forgot that I couldn't read it for a brief moment.

Congrat! I bought mine in july, but now is on pause, cos i'm running a Tamagotchi ID! I love the TMGC+C, it's simple and basic tama, basic care and basic fun (like V1/V2), but you'll find something new every days! :)
