Latest Topics added to the sidebar News and Announcements

Hello again TamaTalkers!
Just wanted to point out a little something I've added to the sidebar... The 'Latest Topics' section is now working and links to the last 10 new topics started here on TamaTalk (note that it lists out the topic titles and not descriptions). The hope is that it provides a quick look at new stuff started on the site that you might miss otherwise. The list is updated every 10 minutes so don't worry if you start something and don't see it right away.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on if this will even be something you find useful or not.

I thought something seemed a little different!

It's nice and I like it that it updates every 10 minutes. I think I'll find it very useful.

I'm glad you all think it is useful. I forgot to ask if you think 10 latest topics is good. Or should we go to 5? 15?

I think 10 looks about right as well. 5 is too few and 15 will probably make it look a bit cluttered. That's just my opinion though.

I like this idea!
I think it will be very helpful for navigation and such.
Members could also gee their questions answered faster if they post in a help forum.

And I think 10 is the perfect number to have on the sidebar, for the same reasons OldSchoolTama stated. -thumbs up-
