Okay, is the Tama-Go just a bigger Tamagotchi Connection with a better screen and the figures?

I have one, but I just want to know if the characters are set to only certain ones, or if the matchmaker will come or not, etc.

Wait, are you saying no to the matchmaker? Are you telling me that my Tama can't have babies without another Tama-Go? ;)

 
Like a poster mentioned above, I would highly recommend reading binary's Tama-Go log. It's definitely worth the read. You don't need another Tama-Go to advance through the generations but it's always fun to have another one to use the Connection function. I'd try yours out first and see if you like it before getting another one. The V5 series and V6 Connections can also connect to a Tama-Go, so if you have any of those, you can try that out too.

Your tamagotchi, at a certain age can go to the dating place, where you can meet other tamagotchis, and possibly marry.

where is the date room or something like that? do you know what age the can see the match maker and where is that?
