Tamagotchi P1 speaker

The wire that connects to the speaker on my P1 broke (Again ) But the thing is... a wire can be soldered on the speaker so many times, and there is no place left on the speaker to reconnect the wire. buzzer speakers are hard to find in that size, but does anyone know where to find one.

The best thing to do would be to buy a tatty old P1 or P2 from eBay and sacrifice it for parts. Not ideal, but an idea nonetheless.

Is the speaker important to you? As long as its still playable, I wouldn't mess with it. You can always try to solder above the places you have already, but be careful it closes still. Or you can try to scrape off the old solderings and hope they come off enough to re-solder the wire.

If worst comes to worst, though it may be easier, quicker and more satisfying, add this Tama to your "spare parts" box or sell it on eBay as "junk" or something, and buy yourself another P1. They're so cheap.

I don't think i wan't to, I payed $15 for that thing at a video game convention. <_<

I don't think I will find a speaker for that thing so I'll just look on eBay

You could get a cheap tama that is the same type (p1/p2) then put the new(er) one in the old shell... They do every once in a while have Cheap deals on the oldie tamas. (They being Ebay)

If you are very gentle scraping your solderings off, you might be able to reconnect the sound. You can make it a bit easier to scrap the solderings off by CAREFULLY (I DO Mean CAREFULLY) using a screwdriver... Maybe "Breathe Heat" on it before you go scraping, it will give it a hair of heat to help move the solders. I don't know if you get what I mean...

(By Breathe Heat I mean like... You know how you can see your breath outside when its cold? Do that, only inside on a scredriver....I hope that makes since.) I haven't done this, nor do I solder anything, so try this at your own risk....
