Difference of English Familitchi and Japanese Famitama?

Because I have some extra cash, and someone on ebay I might be buying something on has a Japanese Familitchi... The postage would be cheapers - because I'm pretty sure they combine, and it's pretty cheap anyway.

Whats the differentce between the japanese and english? (in language - because I know Japanese tamas are usually different..)

Should I get the Famitama with the other thing, or wait for an english one?

The characters and games are the same on the FamiTama and the V5. Some seasonal animations may be different. You can activate the travel show (pause function) for free on the V5, but on the FamiTama it costs 500 GP.

The Royal FamiTama is the Japanese version of the V5 Celebrity. (The V5 Celebrity was sold in some places as the V5.5) They share the same characters, but the built-in games are different, some seasonal animations may be different, some of the foods are different. I don't remember off hand, but I think the travel show is free to use on the V5 Celebrity, but you have to pay some GP to use it on the Royal FamiTama.
