Tama-go

Are the tama-go's fun? are they worth getting? I'm debating getting one. I want to either try to save up for an ID or a tama-go. i'd be able to get a tama-go in a couple weeks probably, but it would take a month or longer for a tama ID.

so I'm asking if the tama-go's are worth having.

I love my Tama-Go, but ID's are supposed to be much better...

But I like the characters on the Tama-Go more than the ones on the ID. Look at some character charts, see what's available.

The one complaint I have about the Tama-Go, is the games are fun but get repetitive and really, if you win Long Jump (Example) you only lose 4lbs, and yet you gain 2lbs for most meals! But ID's might get fat and the games repetitive and it might get boring if you don't have anything to download from...

I love my iD way more then my Tama-Go. WAY MORE! I nearly hate my Tama-Go. The iD is much more fun, downloads or not, and for me the Tama-Go is just an okay tama.

Mmm... Both have additional content (I.E Games) that have to be obtained...

On ID, I read the food and home background are customizable if you have a phone to connect to.

I think 3 figures for Tama-Go equal the the price of a cheap phone or IR-Adapter for ID file transfers.

The ID has Color Screen and a clear cut layout of how to get characters. (Care Misses)

People are still confused how to do basic things like Discipline Tama-Go. (Are experimenting how to get certain characters.)

Looks wise the ID is cleaner, though the faceplate is not changeable.

However the jewel design is nice enough I do not think changing it is necessary.

Also I hear the Tama-Go screen scratches easy... the ID screen is inset and does not.

ID's are MUCH smaller compared to Tama-Go's [image from -crayonscribbles- Log]



Also ID's come in similar (or more) colors to Tama-Go. I am not sure about Black.

I would probably save up for an ID. (I have neither ID nor Tama-Go.)

i got a tama go right now (need to save up the extra for something more important, and i was impatient XD)

so far i like the tama go way much more than my music star. though i think i'd like the ID a lot better

One bonus I see with the tamago is that it has more characters you can acquire compared to the ID

I have both the Tama-Go and an ID and I love them both. Dorkfish, I also like my Tama-Go way more than my Music Star. It is a lot less complicated, especially since I have a 8-5 job it is much more convenient for me. I also like the fact that the sound is a bit muffled, then people don't realise you're playing with something

And I would just LOVE to have one of the 2nd wave Tama-Gos, they are much prettier than the first ones.....

I'm dying for a purple one. right now the figures went on sale at toys r us, i looked on the website after i saw someone's status saying they went on sale and now i'm dying to go grab some before other people buy them all. -.- i was lucky to get a blue tama go when i went, it was slim pickin's there because everyone had already been at them for a couple months. dying to get the other figures while they're on sale. and debating getting a kuromametchi and ichigotchi figure on ebay.

Just watch the prices on ebay, some sellers go up to $20 for one figurine Now I wish I lived in the US....how nice it must be to walk into a store to buy a tama........

I agree with Pantheratchi.. It's SO SO SO hard to find the Tama-go figures here... And even harder to find the older versions of the Tamagotchi... Getting it on ebay is not an option cause the seller's prices are ridiculous.... =.=

@Dorkfish : I would rather get an ID if I were you~ o.o You guys are so lucky its so easy to purchase stuff online... :'(
